The use of disposable packing bowls is convenient for our life. Do you know the types and materials of packing bowls we often use?
Strictly speaking, there are many kinds of disposable tableware, but most disposable meals have three categories: biodegradable (paper products, food powder moulding), photodegradable (photodegradable/biodegradable plastic), and easily recyclable materials (polypropylene, high impact polystyrene).
Generally, PE (polyethylene) is used for disposable packing bowl material, which is very soft and thin in appearance. Because of the straight chain structure, the mechanical properties of this material will be poor and the transparency is general. Also, PVC is used more, that is, polyvinyl chloride, bluer in appearance and much harder than PE in the same thickness, but this material burns to produce toxic gases, so the food industry will be strict. If it is the kind of injection or blow moulded cups, some are PC (polycarbonate), although very environmentally friendly, but the cost is higher, and its mechanical properties are also very good, widely used. There is also PP, that is polypropylene, this material folding boxes for packaging more, slightly some injection molding, generally opaque, but also transparent.
Different materials of packaging bowl can withstand different temperatures, general PE (up to 80 degrees), PP (70 degrees, up to 120 degrees), polybenzene (PS long-term use of 60-80 or so), PVC plasticizer less can reach 120 degrees.
