For paper cups, they can be divided into "cold cups" and "hot cups". Maybe you will think that paper cups are nothing more than cold water and hot water. What is the difference between them? In fact, the quality requirements of paper cups are different due to their different uses and processing methods. The disposable paper cup customized materials should not only meet the requirements of packaging and processing performance, but also have certain printability, and the cup printing should also meet the conditions of heat sealing in the processing and molding of paper cups.

1. Hot cup
It is usually used for packaging trade of hot drinking goods, and the processing material is PE single-sided composite paper, that is, single-sided coated paper. Generally, it is printed on non PE surface and directly on paper surface. Due to the need of hot drinks, this kind of paper cup needs to have a certain degree of heat insulation after processing. Therefore, this kind of products usually require the paper to have a certain thickness and stiffness to increase the thermal insulation of the cup. The larger the volume, the thicker the paper used.
Due to the needs of the market, printing on paper cups is a way of publicity adopted by many manufacturers. At the same time, exquisite printing patterns also make paper cups wear gorgeous coats and bring good visual enjoyment to consumers.

The printing of single film PE paper is carried out on the paper surface, so in addition to the selected ink must meet the food hygiene requirements, the impact of other aspects of paper on printing is similar to that of ordinary paper.

2. Cold drink cup
According to the different processing methods, the cold drink cup can be divided into two types: one is to make the paper with good anti permeability by wax dipping process after the cup is printed on the base paper, and the other is to make the paper have anti permeability by double-sided composite PE.
The printing requirements of two different processing forms of paper cups are different. For the paper cup processed by dipping wax, printing is to cut the paper surface. As far as printing itself is concerned, there is no special requirement for raw materials. For the paper with double-sided PE lamination, it needs special treatment to obtain good printing effect.
